Reggae/dancehall artiste IWAN has placed a call on Ghana’s dancehall King, Shatta Wale, to join a new single he is releasing, which will feature various artistes.
In an Instagram post, IWAN “begged” Shatta Wale to jump onto his “Sweet Riddim” track. He added that Shatta Wale should let bygones be bygones and be part of the project for love and unity.
He wrote “@shattawalegh I would be glad to have you Bless The #SweetRiddim .. Let’s do it For the Love and Unity… #shattamovement #GideonForce #ShangoRecords Thank you”.
It is quiet surprising why IWAN will make a U-turn and call on Shatta Wale to jump on his track, after launching an attack on the “Gringo” hitmaker and trying to beef him.
It will be recalled that IWAN described Shatta Wale as someone who is not a dancehall because he doesn’t do dancehall songs, but does “jamma” songs.
IWAN tried using this medium to probably become relevant again, but it unfortunately did not work for him. Let’s see if this new move will work for him.
