John Dumelo vows never to give up on his dream even if he loses election in 2020

Popular Ghanaian actor kum politician, John Dumelo Snr. has disclosed his intention not to give up even if he loses the 2020 Election.

The National Democratic Congress’ John Dumelo who is contesting the parliamentary seat in Ayawaso West Wuogon made references to the Late Prof. John Evans Atta Mills and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo.

He stated the two great politicians never gave up on their dreams even when they were defeated a couple of times.

Speaking on Accra based Kasapa FM, John Dumelo explained that if he is defeated, this will give him more experience to re-strategize and come back stronger in the next election.

“If you look at the Late Former President John Evans Atta Mills, he lost two times before he won finally. The current President, Akufo Addo, lost two times and won on the third time”.

Reacting to whether his acting career will end if he wins the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat, John Dumelo replied that; “I’ll not give up on acting if I’m voted to represent my people in Parliament.”

John got the knod by delegates of the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) during the parliamentary elections held on Saturday, August 24, 2019.

He emerged victorious with a majority of the votes to become the party’s parliamentary candidate in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency for the 2020 General Elections.
