The flag bearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has said that if there will be violence in 2020 then it will not be with him as the leader of the party.
According to the immediate past president, he’s been in politics for long and he is noted for his modesty and humbleness since 1996 when he was elected as the Member of Parliament.
”I have been in Politics since 1996, and my demeanour is well known. I am a person of peace, I am modest, I am humble, and I don’t like violence. If violence will occur, it will not be with me as a leader of the NDC” he said.
Mr Mahama was speaking at a meeting with Christian Religious Leaders in Tamale to affirm his preparedness to accept the outcome of the December polls on the 7th.
