The 3rd of June 2015 will go down in history as one of the darkest days for the nation Ghana as 154 lives were lost in devastating flood and fire explosions at Circle.
The event also say 100 more people sustaining various degrees of injuries.
It’s five (5) years already and Head Pastor of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has bragged that he spiritually saved some lives that day.
Making the claim in a short video, the self-styled “angel” disclosed that it was his father Jesus Christ who prompted him about the event just as it was unfolding, and told him to save his children.
Speaking in the video, he said; “I turned myself into a different person to save people because spiritually I turned into a different person and wore overall. I was sleeping when Jesus told me Obinim act fast, act fast, act fast to save people”.
“I then asked him what was wrong and he replied there’s fire etc…So I locked my door and laid on my bed. My spirit left me and fast I went to circle. When I got there, the fire was overwhelming. I saw only 2 church members. I acted fast to save them”.
“But at a glance, I saw a girl who was being burnt by the fire, then Jesus told me, she is not your child but she is a member of DagHeward Mills church. So save her because she’s a Christian. I acted fast and dived into the flood, held her at her back to pull her out. I worked for some people but they don’t know it is me.”
In a bid to make Ghanaians know that he would not lie for anything, he hammered on the fact that he is aware God will judge everyone one day; and added that he’s only on earth for a special assignment.
“Massa what I’m saying, the bible says you will be judged according to your words. Jesus Christ will judge you one day. Please I came for a purpose. I’m here for assignment, when I finish my assignment I will go back. So when you are talking bad at Obinim, be very careful,” he told his critics.
Bishop Obinim is before court and has been charged with the offense of false publication of news and forgery of documents contrary to section 208 and 159 of the Criminal and Other Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
He is standing trial at the Kaneshie District Court presided over by her worship Rosemond Dodua Agyiri.
