Family of fallen Ex-Black Stars forward, Manuel Agogo Junior have announced the date and venue for his final funeral rites.

Junior Agogo died last month, a news which sent shock waves throughout the country. And according to his family, he will be interned at a private ceremony in London on the 20th of September.

The burial service will take place at St Mark’s Church in London at 2:00 PM. He will then be cremated.

Junior suffered a stroke in 2015 and went through hard times. However, he began recovering from the stroke. Hence, his death came as a shock, considering the fact that he seemed to be recovering.

Agogo became a household name in 2008 after he played for the Black Stars during the African Cup of Nations tournament hosted by Ghana. He died at age 40.
