Municipal Chief Executive for Kintampo North, Michael Baffoe Sarkodie has said that the Kintampo Falls will be reopened tomorrow November 18.
Kintampo Municipal Assembly in partnership with the Ghana Tourism Authority and the Traditional Authority have come together to put plans in place to bring the facility up to standard, in order to prevent further unfortunate incidents.
The Assembly has however put safety measures in place and completed their maintenance work for tourist convenience.
The facility will be officially re-opened to the public by the Vice President, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, 18th November 2017.
There will be a ceremony to climax the activity at the facility.
“I wish to urge all institutions, traditional authorities, civil societies as well as individuals to get actively involved in the development and promotion of the various tourist facilities in the municipality,” Michael Baffoe Sarkodie said.
