After the death of popular highlife musician Kofi B, Ghanaian beat maker King Dee has disclosed that he still has some unreleased songs of the late musician in his possession.
King Dee stated that he was working with Kofi B on an album he wanted to release before death placed it’s icy hands on him in Cape Cost.
He made this revelation in a recent interview where he explained that they were working assiduously to get the album ready; and even had high hopes that they will release it together.
“We are done with it. I was so sad to hear of him passing away. I thought we were going to release the album and never thought of his death. He is even done with all the singing on his beats,” King Dee said.
King Dee has vowed to meet with his family concerning the release of the album which will help keep Kofi B’s legacy alive.
“Now I will have to sit down with his family to discuss terms. It’s unfortunate he is dead but that is the way forward,” he added.
Kofi B, born Kofi Boakye Yiadom died at the Cape Coast Regional Hospital on the 22nd of February 2020 where he was billed to perform for the Chief of Abease on the occasion of his birthday.
