Kofi Kinaata savagely replies Abeiku Santana for asking why he doesn’t do English songs.


On an interview with Abeiku Santana on Okay FM’s ”Ekwanso dwodwo”, to promote his latest track ”Behind the Scenes”, Kofi Kinaata rubbished the idea of recording English songs.

Kofi Kinaata is of the view that the dreaded coronavirus won’t have any influence on who deserves to be artiste of the year for the VGMA’s and believes he is in a pole position to win the ultimate.

The high-life song of the year nominee believes that the voice of the people is the voice of the Lord and has no qualms with people who have suggested that he deserves to win the artiste of the year.

He opined that getting a nomination for a category makes you a winner in the first place but the public who are crusading for him to win the ultimate are the same people who will vote so he can only remain hopeful.

When quizzed why he has failed to record a song in English language he savagely replied Abeiku Santana by asking whether Michael Jackson has ever recorded in Fanti language before.
