Juventus midfielder, Kwadwo Asamoah says their clash with Tottenham Hotspurs in the round of 16th in the Uefa Champions League won’t come easy.
The Italian giants will host Tottenham in the first leg match at the Juventus Stadium in Turin on February 14 and the Ghanaian international admits it will be a tough contest.
“Tottenham is solid, they defend well, they have overtaken important teams in the group but if you want to try to win the Cup you have to be able to beat anyone. All challenges are difficult,” he told the official club website.
Despite Asamoah potential move from the club in January, the former Udinese playmaker is determined to do all his best for the club to win laurels.
“Well, I’m glad. I work with determination and always want to show my commitment, I’m available to the team at all times, on the other hand, we need that in all the roles there are players at the maximum of the condition.
“Against Inter it was not easy, we drew, but the season is long. We think only of ourselves – he adds – There are many teams that want to win, this year as in previous seasons. But we also play for the maximum result,” he added.
