Ghanaian musician Kwaw Kese has expressed gratitude to fans of Shatta Wale who pelted him with bottles during his performance during the 2019 “Wonder Boy” album launch at the Fantasy Dome, on October 19th.
Kwaw Kese, who had beefed Shatta Wale since last year was greeted with some amount of resistance from patrons on stage as he performed.
Days later, the Fante rapper from the Central Region released a song titled ‘Bottles’; and according to him, the song is being received well by Ghanaians.
During a recent interview with 3FM’s MzGee, Kwaw Kese described the incident as a blessing in disguise.
“The song is all over the place now. I was even surprised. We went for a show, though the ‘Dondo’ is big, the fans were craving for me to perform ‘Bottles’. It’s a big song. I want to thank the SM fans for throwing the bottles,” he stated.
Immediately after the incident, he expressed utmost disappointment in Shatta Wale and his management for not reaching out to him to apologize over the issue.
Meanwhile Kwaw Ziggy is proposing that “Dondo” should be adopted as a national asset so that it can be used to promote tourism.
