The host of Fire 4 Fire Sports show on Adom TV and Asempa FM, Patrick Osei Agyemang known in the media circle as Countryman Songo has cautioned Black Stars coach, James Kwesi Appiah to vary his tactics.
The outspoken sports journalist who is currently in Egypt covering the 22nd edition of the Total African Cup of Nations has also called on the Black Stars players to lift up their game and sacrifice for the country.
In an interview with “the Ultimate Sports Show host” Kwadwo Mensah Moshossho on Asempa FM, he stated that, “the coach needs to sharpen his tactics and the playing body needs to strengthen their style of play”.
“However, let me tell the Black Stars Management Committee headed by Dr. K. K. Sarpong and current FA President Dr. Kofi Amoah that they should push the team; they should also talk to the Head Coach to help the team and I have been told that they have done that.
Countryman Songo reiterated that although we won our last match, we all know that we have been through this stage to the final for several AFCONs and we couldn’t bring the cup for the past 37 years.
As the tournament progresses, the coach has to learn well. He must also listen to advice. The players must sacrifice because some of the players in this squad have been to the final before.
Ghana will face Tunisia in the next round on the 10th of June.
