Love is a different thing but profanity is what I believe we should cut off – Sarkodie

Award winning rapper Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known by stage name Sarkodie has stated that he strongly believes in love, but abhors profanity in songs. 

He was speaking with Frank Kwabena Owusu on Hitz FM’s TIG (This is Gospel) Show on the 6th of January 2019 where he touched on prafanity in his kinda music.  

He explained that love is a different thing and should not be pushed away because it has the tendency to make relationships and marriages stronger.

Sarkodie stated that “when people are singing songs that can make marriages stay, it is very necessary so don’t push them away”.

For him, he sings about love and not profanity.

“Love is a different thing but profanity is what I believe we should cut off”, he added.
