Societywatch.net earlier reported the take down of Strongman’s ‘Odo’ cover track featuring Sarkodie and Akwaboah on YouTube.
Well, here is the jist; ‘Odo’ belongs to Sarkodie. It was part of his recently released ALPHA EP in which he featured late dancehall diva, Ebony.
After the release of the album, Strongman came out to suggest that he was not happy with what Sarkodie has done. According to him, he was supposed to be on the ‘Odo’ track as Sarkodie gifted him the song. He however is not aware that Sarkodie did a version with Ebony.
Strongman made this revelation during an interview, just before his massive beef with Medikal.
AFTERMATH OF THE BEEF;
Well, Medikal ranked himself higher than Strongman after the beef; although many Ghanaians believe Strongman’s jabs were heavier than Medikal’s.
Medikal feels that Strongman is yet to get a hit song like himself (Medikal) and cannot compare himself (Strong-G) to him in financial terms.
Well, Strongman has gone ahead to upload an audio slide of his version of the ‘Odo’ song he claimed Sarkodie gifted him; remember Sarkodie already has it on his Alpha EP. And then Merlin Ditto Limited, an online music distribution company, reports this to YouTube. The song (particularly with its beat pattern) is similar with the one belonging to its clients’, hence the strike.
The question here is, is Strongman so desperate to prove Medikal wrong? Is this the reason he decided to upload a song which is already in circulation on online music stores?
Is he confirming Medikal’s statement that he cannot produce a hit song?
