Sir Charles Mugane Njojo is the first-ever Attorney General and Minister of Constitutional Affairs in Kenya also popularly known as the “The Duke of Kabeteshire” who has clocked 101 years and still counting.
With this world full of communicable disease and the recent pandemic, the octogenarian who served in the government of the first president of Kenya, Jomo Kenyatta and the second president, Daniel arap Moi is still strong and healthy and has shared his secret.
According to a publication in a Kenyan newspaper, Gems of Life, the “Duke of Kabeteshire” has a healthy appetite for a “slow-cooked” leg of lamb and a cold bottle of Tusker Light beer.
However, the goat meat should be cooked in an oven for three good hours before it is served to the former Attorney General who celebrated his 101 birthday with his family members at his Muthaiga home in Nairobi on Saturday, January 23, 2021.
His food is said to be incomplete without honey on the table and yoghurt as a dessert. Mugane Njonjo was born on the 23 January 1920 in Kabete, Kenya and married to Magaret Bryson with two children, Wairimu Njonjo and Nimu Njonjo.
