TV Personality, Bridget Otoo, has reiterated that CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah, runs a Ponzi Scheme.

According to her, she won’t buy into the sweet words NAM1 dished out for customers of Menzgold, although some of his customers have bought into it.

Nana Appiah Mensah put together a press conference at the MJ Grand Hotel in Accra after his arrest and release by the CID Unit of the Ghana Police Service.

And as part of his delivery, he begged the Government of Ghana to unfreeze his bank accounts and assets to enable him pay his customers off; and also help him to retrieve the $39M owed him in Dubai after a gold deal went wrong for him.

He also told customers of Menzgold to remain calm because he is willing to pay back every penny and again get back to business.

However, Bridget Otoo, reacting to his comments cannot understand why NAM1 would ask government “to assist a private businessman to retrieve money in a private business deal.”

NAM1 won his case in Dubai and flew down to Ghana to pay back his customers. However, he was arrested and put before court; he was later bailed after an initial bail condition of GHC 1 Billion and 5 sureties was placed on him.

His speech seems to have brought some calm amongst some distressed customers of Menzgold. And many are hoping that they will soon receive their monies back.
