My “some footballers make bad coaches” tweet was never directed at my ex-boss Sark – Strongman

Sarkodie and Strongman

Ghanaian Rapper and former signee of Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music, Strongman, has come out to clear the air concerning a tweet he made after leaving Sarkcess music. And according to Strongman, it had nothing to do with Sarkodie, but was rather a football tweet.

Despite his explanation, many feel that he took too long to address it after waiting for Sarkodie to receive bashing from Sarkodie’s critics.

After leaving SarkCess Music, Strongman tweeted; “Most good footballers turn to be bad coaches.

And as good interpreters as Ghanaians are, many interpreted it as a jab at Sarkodie for being a musician himself but not being able to manage Strongman’s career.

But many days of trolling for Sarkodie, Strongman has come out to clear the air. Speaking on Joy FM on Thursday, he stated that the tweet was actually a tweet concerning current manager of Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and was not about his former boss.

He added that he can never be ungrateful to Sarkodie because the SarkCess Music boss has done a lot for him and his career, irrespective of how things have ended up now.

“I was happy at the label. They did everything they had to do for me,” Strongman said.
