The ”16 years” hitmaker was a guest on United Showbiz on Saturday night and has announced her readiness to settle all differences between her and one-time best friend, Afia Schwarzenegger.
Mzbel has accepted that she is a controversial celebrity – a tag given to her by Ghanaian bloggers but was quick to state that she’s been dragged into all the controversies over the time.
However, she believes her entry into the music scene 16 years ago was on a wrong footing because she had no one to guide her on how to speak and behave in public, hence all the bad press around her.
She added that all matters relating to the bad blood with Afia Schwarzenegger has been reported to a traditional court in James town called ”Nae-we” where she believes instant justice can be served to end the long-standing feud.
Below is a full of her Instagram post and a video of her interview on UTV with Nana Ama McBrown.
”I’m not trying to play the victim whatsoever i just want the exchange of filthy words between us, two great wn women with children on social media every now and then to stop! At this point It no longer matters to me who started it, it just has to stop!!!
If ”Nae-we” finds me guilty in anyway, I will accept and do whatever they ask to bring peace once and for all.
I do take minded criticisms in good stride but insults, name calling and false accusations, do hurt even the greatest souls.
Also I will like to apologise to Prophet Badu Kobi and Mr Kofi Amoabeng for having their names dragged in all of this mess because of me”
