Veteran hiplife artiste popularly known as Mzbel has revealed that she will not be releasing any new song until ex-President John Mahama is re-elected to power in 2020.
The “16 years” hitmaker is a staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and she has never hidden it from the public domain.
According to Mzbel, she is holding on to her career this year to focus on motherhood and develop a production studio.
Mzbel was speaking on Ameyaw TV where she said that “At the moment, I’m trying to be a mother and to concentrate on my new studio. I have a production studio, so this year no music. We do TV productions and staff so I want to make sure it works and becomes a success”.
Answering a question on when she plans on releasing her next song, she said: “…next year, in 2020, when Mahama comes back to power.”
