Nana Addo endorsed Menzgold – Sammy Gyamfi reveals

Sammy Gyamfi (National Communications Director – NDC)

Sammy Gyamfi, National Communications Officer of the leading opposition party the NDC has addressed the press at the party headquarters on the current impasse between Menzgold, it’s customers and governments involvement in the whole episode.

Speaking on behalf of the NDC, Sammy stated that the President of Ghana, Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo-Addo endorsed the young businessman Nana Appiah Mensah the very day he paid a visit to the Presidency.

Sammy explained that the President had no business whatsoever meeting Nana Appiah Mensah. Hence if NAM1 was allowed to meet the President, he was only endorsing the businessman to the general public.

There are speculations circulating on social media that Nana Appiah Mensah even sponsored the campaign of Nana Addo during the 2016 general elections, and other top NPP officials, hence the grounding he has at the Presidency.

Sammy Gyamfi also took a swipe at the current finance minister Ken Ofori Atta, describing him as the greediest political figure in Ghana. He doesn’t understand why Ken Ofori Atta operates DataBank, an investment bank, but will describe customers of Menzgold as greedy for investing into Menzgold for profits.
