The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of embattled gold dealership company, Menzgold Ghana, Nana Appiah Mensah, has started going to court today, just 24 hours after he arrived in Ghana.
Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as NAM 1 was accosted by the police upon arrival at the Kotoka International Airport and has been arraigned before court.
He made his first appearance at an Accra High Court and will return to court on the 26th of July.
According to Police, they will have to keep him in their custody to assist in their investigations. Hence, trial judge Jane Helen Akweley Quaye granted then their wish.
He was immediately taken away and will return to court by the end of July.
The Menzgold CEO won his court case in Dubai. But the battle seems not to be over for him as he will have to face the laws of Ghana and win before he can declare himself a free man.
