The former chairman of the GFA Normalization Committee set up by FIFA/CAF in September 2018, Dr. Kofi Amoah has responded to allegations leveled against him in the ongoing saga involving some monies Glo paid to the GFA.
In his response contained in a press release, Dr. Kofi Amoah denied any acts of corruption in his actions.
Explaining the facts of the matter, Dr. Amoah stated that the monies paid to the lawyers who helped to retrieve the monies, Davies & Davies law firm were monies that were due them for the services they provided the FA.
He further gave details of the circumstances leading to the payment of the amount of $100,000 to the law firm and stated that he has since ordered the lawyer Frank Davies to refund the money to the new GFA President, Kurt Okraku.
According to him; “For those who read corruption into everything; there is none here”.
