The Government of Ghana through the Ghana Education Service has announced the introduction of new school uniforms for Junior High School students.
This was made the known to the public when the Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Professor Kwasi Opoku Amankwa announced the introduction of the new school uniforms at a press conference in Accra. And according to him, students will begin using the new uniforms from the 2019/2020 academic year.
He also made mention of the introduction of a new curriculum which is expected to come into force from September 2019.
It’s sad that this announcement has come at a time when this same government could not finance the printing of examination questions for schools and told their teachers to write questions on blackboards.
