Nicki Minaj heaps praises on Ghanaian singer Nana Fofie; Tells her she’s so talented

Award winning American female rapper Nicki Minaj has praised fast rising Ghanaian songstress, Nana Fofie. And according to her, Nana Fofie is so talented. 

Nana Fofie rose to fame last year after her mashups and cover videos of some popular Afrobeat songs went viral. And that is how Nana Fofie caught the attention of the “Anaconda” hitmaker. 

Nicki Minaj was spotted jamming to her cover song on Instagram and even gave her a shout out. And boom, Nana is on Nicki’s tour. “IT IS HAPPENING! #nickiwrldtour,” 

Nana announced her initial performance which happened on March 25 in Amsterdam. Nana Fofie later posted a photo she took with Nicki backstage, and thanked her for the opportunity.

She took to instagram to write “I wish that i could have this moment for life.” Dear @nickiminaj thank you for a life changing moment and opening all these doors. You are so sweet and genuine such an inspiration. I’ll take your loving words on board and i’ll never forget what you said…thankin you aint enough!!! #nickiwrldtour [sic]”.

Nicki Minaj then responded by saying “Thank you for performing, my love. Wishing you all the best. So TALENTED”.
