Veteran Highlife musician, Kwaisey Pee, has stated that no Ghanaian is fit to be called a celebrity at the moment.

Per his view, he is yet to see one celebrity in Ghana because we cannot compare the social and financial status of celebrities living in the Western World to our ‘so-called’ Ghanaian celebrities.

Kwaisey Pee was on the Daybreak Hitz show on Hitz FM when he was told that some A-list artistes such as Daddy Lumba, Sarkodie, Shatta Wale, and Stonebwoy could be called Celebrities. But he had this to say.

I wanna get to where they will call you that. It’s self-professed in Ghana. There is no celebrity in Ghana. They don’t have what it takes.” he told host KMJ.
