Ghanaian Rappers Okyeame Kwame and Kofi Kinaata have been appointed as Ambassadors for the maiden edition of the International Coconut festival slated for 24th to 26th September, 2019.
The event is being organized by the Ghana Export Promotions Authority (GEPA) to mark its 50th anniversary under the theme; ‘50 Years of Facilitating Ghana’s Export’.
Okyeame Kwame and Kofi Kinaata have very unique styles of music with a local appeal. According to CEO of GEPA, Okyeame Kwame was selected because he promotes ‘Made in Ghana’ good; Kofi was also chosen because he is one of the most influential young people from the Western Region where Coconut is mostly cultivated.
