‘Oofeetso’ is not a diss song to Shatta Wale – Sarkodie


Sarkodie has denied ever releasing his latest track “Oofeetso” as a diss song to Shatta Wale.

Sarkodie said this during an exclusive interview with JoyNew’s Becky after his performance at the ‘Ashaiman to the World’ concert. And according to him, the song is one that he thinks many people can just relate to and told Becky that “it’s a good song, that’s all”.

According to him, although his relationship with Shatta Wale isn’t that cordial as it used to be, he does not habour any hate in his heart for him. He said; “I don’t know what it is; but we definitely have to straighten a few things out”.

“Oofeetso” which features Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame has lyrics many fans have interpreted as a direct response to some of Shatta Wale’s jabs during interviews.

Sarkodie in his song used the word “skin pain” to address his haters; hammering on his successes despite their their attempts to pull him down.
