Award winning dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale, has lauded the efforts of Ghana’s most trending artiste at the moment, Patapaa.
According to Shatta Wale, Ghanaians hardly listen to good music. So once Patapaa realized that, he gave them something gibberish in his ‘Skopatomana’ rap verse in ‘Daavi Ne Ba’ track. And lo and behold, he has been able to trend.
“Patapaa is a smart guy. He has realised Ghanaians don’t want to listen to good music so he will sing nonsense and it will be a hit,” Shatta Wale said.
“if we don’t take care, he will infest the country with some disease which doctors cannot have a cure”, he added.
Shatta Wale made this statement when he was guest on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z with host George Quaye.
Many Ghanaians have in one time or the other tried rattling Patapaa’s rap verse ‘Skopatomana’ or have even joined the challenge since Kawoula’s ‘Daavi Ne Ba’ track was released.
