After declaring this year the ‘Year of Return’, a host of Black Americans including some big names have made the trip back to home where it is believed that the first slaves were picked from 400 years ago.
Some of them include American show host Steve Harvey and actor Boris Kodjoe, just to mention a few.
This initiative by the government of Ghana has made Ghana attractive; as three big names from Asia also landed in Ghana yesterday.
The three include martial art Chinese actor Jet Li, entrepreneur Jack Ma and former U.N Secretary-General Ban ki-Moon. As part of their visit, they paid a courtesy call on the President, Nana Akufo-Addo.
The three will speak at the Africa Netpreneurship Summit, which will be held at the Accra International Conference Center later today.
