Ghanaian rapper Edem, during an interview on Joy FM with Lexis Bill has stated that the much anticipated positive change the President Nana Akufo-Addo promised is not reflecting in his pocket.
It will be recalled that during the 2016 political campaign, Nana Akufo-Addo promised Ghanaians a positive change; an economy that will alleviate poverty and ensure massive development.
But rapper Edem has said that the change he promised isn’t a reflection of what’s happening currently.
“I am not impressed with how things are happening in my pocket. I want to feel something in my pocket because I am not really feeling it”, Edem said.
On what the government should do to help the unemployed youths, the award winning rapper said; “One thing I like to say is that they should create an atmosphere for young people who want to do business to be encouraged…I think that for me is key. Like for example, the process that someone who does not know people to register business is tedious and he might want to give up”.
