Rescue missing Takoradi girls – Kofi Kinaata pleads with Police

Takoradi based hiplife artiste Kofi Kinaata has joined the campaign for the release of three girls who were kidnapped in Takoradi between August and December in 2018. 

The three ladies are 15 year old Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 21 year old Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Ruth Love Quayson.

According to sources, a 21 year old lady was kidnapped at Nkroful Junction in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis in August of 2018. Before that, another girl, 15, was kidnapped two days earlier on the 15th of August, 2018, and was found about hundred metres from her house at Takoradi New Site.

These recent kidnappings have caused a lot of fear and panic amongst residents of Takoradi as some residents and relatives of the kidnapped girls recently hit the streets to put pressure on authorities to bring the perpetrators to book.

Kofi Kinaata in his tweet, wrote: “I stand with my sisters who have been kidnapped, the families and my people in #Taadi. I’m confident our girls will be found. I urge the police to do more and speed up their operation to rescue our girls. Stand strong Taadi. We will win this battle.”
