Some people suspected to be members of the Western Togoland separatist group have attacked the State Transport Company (STC) yard in Ho on early Tuesday morning in an attempt to control every movement in their territory.
The territory includes some parts of five regions in the Republic of Ghana: Volta, Oti, Northern region, North East region and Upper East region.
According to a report by graphiconline, the group attacked some drivers who were working on the night shift and burnt down a minibus with registration number GG 4054-19 at the intercity bus terminal located in the centre town of Ho.
However, it is not clear what prompted the reason to attack the yard after the suspects reportedly stormed the yard to point guns at the security guards and drivers to carry out their actions leaving the casualties with minor injuries.
State security personnel have since visited the yard with the assurance of providing adequate security to ward off any future brutalities from the suspected group.
Meanwhile, 31 people who were part of the recent roadblocks on Saturday have been arrested and arraigned before court.
