A commercial driver living in Kasoa Domeabra has been beaten to a pulp by unknown thugs who were later acquitted by a court after he was taken to the Kasoa New Market police station.
On Peace FM’s Ekwanso brebre with Odi Ahenkan Kwame Yeboah, the driver, Alex Asante narrated his ordeal of how he went back and forth to the 37 Military to seek medical attention only to be informed later by the police CID that the perpetrators have been acquitted and discharged.
According to him, the unfair treatment meted out to him can’t go unpunished so he decided to resort to radio where the court of public opinion can mount pressure on authorities to bring justice to him.
When quizzed whether he was born with one blind eye, he disclosed that he lost one eye after he was severely beaten by the thugs who wanted to take away his properties but lost his right eye when he was hit with a wood.
