Samuel Boadu laments poor officiating after first defeat

Head Coach of Accra Hearts of Oak appears to be surprised by some officiating decisions that led to his first defeat as head coach of the club.

Hearts of Oak lost to Ashantigold by a  narrow 1-0 at Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday via a last minute Amos Adai spot kick.

Referee Gabriel Opoku Arhin rewarded the Miners a penalty in the 90th minute after a controversial handball by captain of Hearts, Fatawu Mohammed. 

However Samuel Boadu who appears to surprised by the decision was hesitant in lashing out at the referee. 

“Football sometimes is unpredictable, why the referee took that decision l can never tell but we can all see what happened. I have no comment about them. I am concentrating on my next match which is against Inter Allies.”

Hearts will play Inter Allies in a local derby Sunday, April 18.
