“Sarkodie is too hypocritical, he snitched me in a deal” – Shatta Wale

Award winning dancehall act, Shatta Wale has described his friend and brother, Sarkodie as too hypocritical after revealing some inside information. 

During an interview with George Quaye on Joy FM’s Showbiz A-Z Show on Saturday 3rd May, 2019, the ‘Amount’ hitmaker explained why he has been on Sarkodie’s matter for sometime now. 

According to him, there was a glo event some years ago which was held in Ghana. He planned with Sarkodie to charge glo a certain amount of money. 

However, he was surprised when he heard that Sarkodie had gone in a lesser amount of money. This move broke his heart so much so that he decided to back out of the deal.

He added that the Nigerians were however paid a higher amount of money. 

“I called Sarkodie and we planned to take $150,000 from Glo…Sarkodie Agreed With Me. Before I Could Realize He Snitched And Went For a lesser amount of $120,000 without telling me so I had to opt out of the deal. But the Nigerians were paid more,” Shatta Wale revealed. 

He went ahead to state that Sarkodie was even recently in the United States  of America for a performance. And he was paid $4,000 which is too low for his brand.

Shatta Wale and Sarkodie have been good friends for a while until Shatta began attacking Sarkodie in January of 2018. 

Sarkodie did not respond until 3 days to Shatta’s Reign Album launch in October 2018. He recorded a well thought through song he titled ‘My Advice’ for Shatta Wale.
