Female News Anchors in Ghana over the years have been nothing but brilliance and knowledgeable from ages. It comes as no surprise that most stations have adopted the idea of using women for their prime time news.
Both Twi and English speaking stations have some women who deserves some accolades for not just their beauty but their in depth knowledge and analytical skills that can’t go unconcerned without proper recognition.

Her hardwork and dedication paid off when she was given the position of a News editor and the host of Burning issues, Me wo case anaa and sometimes a stop gap host for Adom FM’a Dwaso nsem. She switched camp to join Despite Group as a news anchor and the host of mmra no se sen on UTV. She is a legal advocate and a firm believer of rule of law.
Nana Aba Anamoah
There is no two ways about the intelligence of Nana Aba Anamoah who is touted as the English teacher on social media with her strict adherence to English phonetics, accentuation, pronunciation and enunciation of the Queen’s language. In fact she is a brave no nonsense woman. She is the definition of beauty with brains. The mother of one rose through the ranks of TV3 and joined EIB’s GHOne TV on some controversial grounds but she remained resolute in her adversity. She’s won many awards including the RTP personality of the year for her exploits.

Afia got the surname Tamakloe when she married Larry Tamakloe. She has since been a stop gap host for many of Multimedia’s Twi programs and her outstanding beauty and knowledge has kept her with the firm and currently a co host of Adom TV’s Badwam.
