Veteran Hip-life musician, Tic, known in real life as Nana Kwaku Duah has stated Ghana’s music industry would be doing better if musicians put greed and selfishness.
Tic was on Citi TV‘s AJ Sarpong on Hall of Fame where he stated that “In Ghana when you do something and someone wants to promote it, hates sets it. Why? Even if the person will come spice the show-up, they won’t bring them because everybody wants to chop alone. That is the problem in our music industry. One man chop. Simple.”
The “Pene Mame” hitmaker also doesn’t understand how 3 artists organize a show in a year whilst there are over 100 artistes in Ghana.
“How can we have in a whole year, only three artistes doing shows when the whole nation has 100 artistes?”, he asked.
Tic who was formerly known as TicTac went off the music scenes for a while but came back again with songs “Pene Mame” and “Kwani Kwani” and they are doing well.
