Semen found on the body of murdered GPHA Manager: Police arrest houseboy

The murder case involving the Public Affairs and Marketing Manager at Ghana Ports and Harbour Authority is getting a headway as police have found some sperms around the pelvic region of the victim, Madam Josephine Asante. 

A police report on the murder which took place at the victim’s Community 25 apartment also revealed some details that were discovered after close examination of the body. 

It reads “There was a fresh cut on the right eye brow, a suspected bullet hole at the back of her head and sperms at her private part region.”

As a result, the victims houseboy Christian Agyei has been picked up by the Police to assist in their investigations. Also, his foot and finger prints have been taken.

Upon initial interrogation, he admitted to burying a wristwatch and GHC 340 belonging to the deceased behind the window of the boys’ quarters where he sleeps. The items which were freshly buried were discovered by the Police investigation team.

“We have taken into custody the houseboy,” DSP Joseph Benefo Darkwah, Public Affairs Director for the Tema Regional Police Command revealed.

He however did not confirm or deny reports on the discovery of sperms in the private part of the deceased, except to say the Tema Region has reached out to the homicide department at the Police headquarters to assist in investigating the case.

The houseboy Christian Agyei, in his statement wrote that he only saw a man in black T-shirt and a jeans running out of the house.

The Police report also added that no fired bullet shells were found at the crime scene and there was no bullet exit at the front portion of her head. 

The scene revealed the doors and windows to the bedroom were all locked.
