Shatta Wale appeals to fans to vote more for him to win 2019 VGMA artiste of the year

It seems that the winning of awards has eaten into the head of dancehall act, Shatta Wale as he has pleaded with his fans in Kumasi to vote massively for him to win VGMAs Artiste of the Year award. 

Known in real life as Charles Nii Armah Mensah, Shatta Wale made this plea during his energetic performance at the 2019 VGMA Nominees Jam which took place at the Kumasi City Mall in the Ashanti Region as monitored by

Shatta Wale is that category with other heavyweights like Stonebwoy, Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene and Joe Mettle. 

The ‘Wonders’ singer took a break during his performance and explained that he misses the Artiste of the Year Award because it’s been long he won it. Hence his SM faithfuls should vote massively for him to win.

He said; “As you dey clap and enjoy yourself make no mistake; I want to win artiste of the year so that we celebrate. It has been long since I won that category. If I win I will be very happy.” Shatta Wale said.
