The “Island” hitmaker was the headline act for this year’s event, the second of its kind organized by WatsUp TV in partnership with the Legon Hall of the University of Ghana to mark the 67th anniversary of the hall and climax its weeklong activities.

The reason for the fight and disruption in Shatta Wale’s performance is not known but per close sources, some students were not happy that the Dancehall King was lip-syncing although they were expecting a live performance from him.

So in a bid to protest the lip-syncing of Shatta Wale, they clashed with Shatta’s bodyguards on stage whilst others went ahead to put off the lights. This got Shatta Wale angry so he walked off stage, hence bringing the show to an end.
