Shatta Wale has always believed in me and I’m grateful – Patapaa


“One Corner” singer Justice Amoah known as Patapaa in the media circles has stated that just when other people were criticizing him indiscriminately, Ghanaian dancehall Champion Shatta Wale always believed in him.

In a recent interview on Happy FM’s “Ayekoo After Drive” with DJ Advicer, he said; “When I made a hit with my first song, Shatta Wale held my hand and told others that I was his superstar. He believed in me and I will be forever grateful to him”.

Patapaa stated that some artistes always think they are higher than others; and would not want to associate with him like Shatta Wale did.

He had a word of advice for such artistes and according to him “artistes who brag do not stay long in the industry”.

Patapaa further stated that apart from such artistes, other persons on social media pass negative comments to discourage him. And he feels happy when they do so. And it’s because such criticisms make him stronger.

“If people don’t talk about you, you cannot move on. The more you talk about me, it will be a blessing for me”, he stated.

Patapaa burst into the music industry in November of 2017 when his “One Corner” single went viral.
