Shatta Wale is no longer a favorite of industry players – 3Music Awards Boss

Sadiq Abdulai Abu (Founder of 3 Music Awards)

Sadiq Abdulai Abu, founder of the just ended 3 Music Awards has stated that in no way was Shatta Wale helped by the Awards board.

He stated that the public was the reason why Shatta won so many awards. And this also suggests that Shatta has lost his hold in the hearts of industry players as compared to Stonebwoy.

“The public helped Shatta Wale win the awards, not the board. He (Shatta Wale) didn’t get enough votes from the Board and Academy,” He stated on Hitz FM

“Because Shatta Wale didn’t get enough votes from the Board and Academy, I’d planned to meet him to tell him that, he’s no more winning the hearts of industry players so should work on it. Stonebwoy has massive industry love when it comes to Board and Academy voting, he gets lots of votes but Shatta amasses more votes from the public,” he added.

Sadiq also explained that the public had 60% percent voting right. So if their favorite artiste did not win an awards, they should not blame the Board and Academy for any musician that loses.
