Coronavirus has entered the UK Royal family as Prince Charles, the crowned Prince of Wales and heir to the throne has tested positive for the coronavirus.

The announcement was made today that Prince Charles has contracted COVID-19; and it is a worry since Prince Charles who is 71 years old falls within the risk zone for the virus. However, the statement has assured Brit’s that he remains in good health,

The Duchess of Cornwall, his wife, has however tested negative.

The statement further stated that; “In accordance with Government and medical advice, the Prince and the Duchess are now self-isolating at home in Scotland”.

Coronavirus has spread across the globe and is causing a lot of havoc on major economies including China, Italy, Germany, the United States and UK.

The UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson only instituted a lockdown of the country yesterday with the increasing threat coronavirus is causing. People are only allowed to leave the house for the most essential of needs.
