US Ambassador donates cargo carriers to Ghana Armed Forces

Ambassador Stephanie Sullivan on behalf of the Government and people of the United States of America has donated some cargo and personnel carries to the Ghana Armed Forces according to a post on the embassy’s official Facebook page.

During the handing over ceremony on the 15th of February 2019, Ambassador Sullivan lauded the efforts of the Ghana Armed Forces and it’s dedicated and professional contribution to the United Nations peacekeeping operations which spans over six decades.

She also hammered on the importance of peace, security and good governance in promoting economic development. According to her, Ghana can only continue to enjoy the economic growth and stability we have when we fight to protect our peace.
