Ex-convict, Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo has accused Ghanaian comedian, Derick Kobina Bonney aka DKB of collecting monies on her behalf which she never received.

The video vixen and socialite was sued by Child Rights International for publishing a nude photo of herself and her only son after which she was sentenced to 90-days in a prison by an Accra Circuit Court.

A social media campaign was launched by some celebrities in Ghana and abroad who pleaded with President Akufo-Addo to temper justice with mercy because she was a first time offender with a hashtag #FreeAkuapemPoloo.

However, the court granted Akuampem Poloo clemency even before the hearing of an appeal filed by her counsel for redress by a superior court to either free her or reduce the sentence.

It will also be recalled that the self-acclaimed best friend of Akuapem Poloo, DKB who constantly visited the troubled actress during her stay at the cells and prison appealed to Ghanaians both in the country and abroad to help Poloo cater for her family while she serves her 90-days sentence.

DKB used his social media handles to solicit for funds with a flier that carried Poloo’s MTN Mobile Money number and bank account for a donation to be made for her and the family.

However, upon the release of Akuapem Poloo who has vowed to be of good behaviour and an ambassador against sharing of obscene materials has disclosed in a new video that she hasn’t received a penny from the stand-up comedian.

She added that several calls from people abroad accused her of being ungrateful following her release from prison because she couldn’t call to thank them for their benevolence.

Meanwhile, Poloo has accused DKB of not answering her calls after all the accusations of her being ungrateful.
