Video: Catholic Bishop Jumps Into The Defense Of Bulldog As He Blasts Government For Its Hypocrisy

The Diocesan Bishop of Jasikan Catholic Church, Rt. Rev. Gabriel Ababio Mantey has bemoaned the hypocrisy in government with specific references to artiste manager, Bulldog and Asawase MP, Muntaka Mohammed.

According to Bishop Mantey, what is good for the goose is good for the gander so he sees no reason why Bulldog was put behind bars for chastising the president but Hon. Muntaka’s stinking allegations about the judiciary have since not been attended to.

It will be recalled that Bulldog a week ago threatened to make sure that the Akufo-Addo won’t finish his second term as president if he fails to pay all outstanding debts owed by Menzgold to its customers and as a result, he was put behind put in police custody for two days.

Meanwhile, Hon Muntaka Mohammed has alleged that a justice of the supreme court called to bribe a female member of parliament on the ticket of the NDC to vote for Rt. Aaron Mike Oquaye prior to the speakership elections on the 7th January which was eventually won by Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin.

It is in light of these that the Catholic priest isn’t enthused by government’s decision to take swift action against Bulldog but have failed to sanction Hon. Muntaka Mohammed’s allegation which has the tendency to bring the name of the apex court to disrepute.

Speaking to Joy News, Bishop Ababio implored the government to treat all manner of persons equally as per a provision in Ghana’s constitution which says “every member is equal before the law”.
