Legon Cities striker, baby jet Asamoah Gyan has shared a hilarious but very memorable incident that occurred during his playing days at English side, Sunderland.

Asamoah Gyan together with Sulley Muntari and John Mensah made history at Sunderland for being the first three African nationals to start a premier league game for a single English team.

The former Black Stars captain recounted that Sunderland was leading a game at home with just a minute to half time in a premiership match but John Mensah’s blunder in defence led to a corner after which their opponents equalized through the resulting corner.

According to Gyan, almost everyone in the dressing room wanted to address the mistake but no one could master the courage to speak to the well-built John Mensah at the time.

He however, went to his national team captain to speak to him on the issue but to his surprise, John Mensah issued a strong warning to him that if care is not taken, he’ll beat the hell out of him. Kindly watch the video below.
