Obinim is not different from Pastor Mensah otabil says Rev Owusu BempehPosted by Bigscout Nana Prempeh on Monday, June 1, 2020
The Head Pastor and General Overseer of the Glorious Word Power Ministries International, Apostle Dr Isaac Owusu-Bempah has taken a swipe at Pastor Mensah Otabil for supervising the collapse of First Capital Bank.
As part of the Banking clean up exercise taken by the Bank of Ghana, it revoked the license of First Capital Bank due to insolvency on the 14, August 2017. The bank was taken over by the Ghana Commercial Bank.
Pastor Mensah Otabil in his role as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank was dragged to court to account for the misappropriation of funds to the tune of GHC 450 million.
Fast forward in 2020, the General Overseer of the International God’s Way Church was arrested for the Publication of false news and the Forgery of documents in addition to some allegations levelled against him.
The self-acclaimed angel of God, Bishop Daniel Obinim was arraigned before court on Tuesday the 19th of May 2020 and was granted bail at the sum of GHC 100,000 with three sureties, one person justified to re-appear before court on 1 June 2020.
And according to Apostle Owusu Bempah, the perpetrators of these two separate crimes can’t be seen in different lenses just for the mere fact that one is educated than the other. He lashed out at Pastor Mensah Otabil for supervising the collapse of the defunct First Capital Bank.
He added that using pen and paper to dupe people can be termed as robbery whereas the one who wields gun to rob people is a robber. He chided Ghanaians for not being bold enough to speak truth to Mensah Otabil because the little ones always learn from the elderly.
