Video: Police Gun Down Thugs At Polling Station For Causing Commotion On Special Voting Day

The General Election slated for December 2020 is about 5 days away and a special voting exercise has been conducted for the security services and some journalists who will be on duty on the 7th to execute their various jobs.

A video has surfaced on social media, where some thugs invaded a polling station where the special voting was being conducted. Some well-built men wielding machetes and pump-action gun started shooting indiscriminately, vandalising the election booths at the centre.

Some onlookers who were around the polling station comprising of unarmed policemen and other citizens remained calm whilst the thugs went about their activities until a swift reaction from some armed policemen who gunned down the thugs to bring their actions to an instant halt.

It is immediately not known which polling station did this happen but the video has it that the four thugs who appeared on motorbikes were hired by some greedy politicians to cause mayhem but met their untimely death with an encounter the police.

The police service and other security agencies have issued strict security protocols to electorates and all Ghanaians on Election Day and are poised to deal with anyone who may try to cause unstable atmosphere before, during and after the election.
