It is common to see exchanges of paraphernalia during state/official visits between state/diplomatic officials.
These paraphernalia normally have a direct bearing or significance on the giver’s culture or beliefs.
societywatch.net has chanced upon a video on social media where two Ghanaian Chiefs, cladded in fine traditional Kente cloth and adorned with ornaments have given out their gold chains in exchange for an Islamic robe.
In a setting that looked like a visit by these Ghanaian traditional leaders to an Islamic official, there were smiles on the faces of both the Ghanaian contingent and their Arabian hosts as they exchanged paraphernalias.
Ghana is noted worldwide for her natural resources especially gold, and her rich culture.
