Football administrator Nana Oduru Sarfo has explained why they were unable to cover matches of WA All Stars in the premier league.
In interview with Asempa fm he explained the reasons why Star times didn’t go to some of the league centers.
He revealed that the equipment needed by Star Time to enable them cover the matches are rented from the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation(GBC).
As a result of this they try to utilize it well to ensure that it covers the amount they have paid for.
According to him, they try to cover two matches on saturdays and sundays, that is if they go to Tarkwa then they will go to cape coast, if Brong Ahafo they will cover Bechem united and Aduana stars, if they go to Ashanti region they also cover kotoko as well as Ashanti Gold in that order.
But unfortunately there is no club close to Wa All stars hence they will have to cover only one match when they go there which is not economical.
“It is not the best but some times we are handicapped, if Wa All stars insist on showing their matches then they have to give part of their sponsorship money to star time, to enable carry out the production effectively,” he fumed.
” It’s star times, who said they can’t cover their matches and it was part of the agreement , so we are all assuming” he added.
